About us

Enecsys was incorporated in Cambridge, UK in 2003. The company’s award-winning technology was originally developed at Cambridge University, one of the world’s most revered centres of technical innovation. Enecsys closed a Series A funding round in June 2009 with a $10 million investment from Wellington Partners and BankInvest New Energy Solutions. It received a further £2.5 million investment from Good Energies in January 2010.
