BankInvest New Energy Solutions

BankInvest New Energy Solutions venture fund was established in 2002 and consists of two funds of €160 million in total. The investment scope is new energy and cleantech investments with a geographical focus on Scandinavia, Europe and North America. NES has invested in 20 companies, exited 4 and is active on the board of the remainder; its three other UK-based investments are Marine Current Turbines Ltd., Atraverda Ltd. And Cambridge Semiconductors Ltd. NES is part of the BankInvest Group, an asset management house with € 25 billion under management.
