System owners

When you own a grid-tied solar system using Enecsys micro-inverters, you enjoy the peace of mind that comes with employing the world’s most reliable power conversion technology in your system for your solar modules.

  1. You get more power from every module because, unlike conventional “DC string” systems, the use of micro-inverters means that your system squeezes the maximum power out of every solar module, whatever the light conditions. Your system will deliver up to 15% more power.
  2. Shade and obstructions have minimal affect on your system’s performance. In traditional DC string systems a PV module that is affected by the slightest shade - from clouds, dust or other debris – becomes a power bottleneck that strangles your whole system’s performance. With micro-inverters, if the performance of one PV module is compromised, the performance of all the others is unaffected.
  3. There is no central point of failure because you don’t have a central inverter. Central inverters are large and heavy, they take up a lot of space, and are often only guaranteed for 5 years. They are the weakest link in any grid-tie solar system. What’s more, they use fans to keep them cool; fans create increasing noise levels throughout their limited life as bearings wear out. Enecsys micro-inverters don’t need fan cooling and are located out of sight behind your solar modules.
  4. You can use more of your roof space to get even more power from your system. Conventional systems can only be mounted on one surface, in one plane. With a micro-inverter solar system, you can use as many surfaces as you want to in order to capture the most sunlight, whatever the time of day.
  5. Safety is improved because there are no lethal high voltage DC cables and junction boxes in the system. Conventional DC string systems often create voltages up to 900Vdc at high current – something that’s best avoided in any installation.
  6. You don’t pay a cent more for all these benefits. In fact, Enecsys Micro-systems will save you 20% to 25% over the life of your system.
  7. Your system is comprehensively monitored, module-by-module, making it very easy to identify the exact location of any problems that might occur over the life of the installation. It means that any maintenance can be done quickly and at much lower cost than in conventional systems.
